Some toys for my project!

I made these bead and bell chains with my family. We used thick cord to make sure it wouldn't snap and the bells help keep it all together. These look really cool rolling along the ground!

Some adorable catnip turtles! How cute are these? They were made by a friend for the collection.

My posters are going out soon so I hope to have exciting updates in the near future so stay tuned!

Welcome

Do you like to knit or sew?  Do you love animals?
If so, you're in the right place! Your knitting can support the Tauranga SPCA by helping to rehabilitate cats and kittens while they wait for their forever home! I am currently hosting a TOY COLLECTION to help give the Tauranga SPCA and the feline residents an early christmas present from the community. I am asking YOU to participate by knitting or sewing smalls toys such as mice and balls.

If you want to help all you have to do is email me at animals.rock@windowslive.com or leave a comment here to register your interest.

Bookmark this page! Soon I will be able to post a list of confirmed drop off points for all those wonderful toys you've made.

Thanks so much for your compassion and participation!
